Sam Allardyce: An Iconic Career

Upon signing up to be the new West Ham United manager, Sam Allardyce promised to make them a team that “win more games than they lose”.

How do previous tenures at the helm compare to this bold statement from the recently appointed Hammers boss?

Here are his managerial records in gloriously colourful circles:

You can see that on most occasions, Sam Allardyce has won more games that lost. The nervous amongst you will note however that at his last two clubs, Newcastle and Blackburn, the number of losses outweigh the wins. Has ‘Big Sam’ lost his belligerent winning mentality? Has his penchant for the rougher side of football become less effective in a faster Premier League? Does he have enough managerial acumen and nous to bring West Ham up at the first time of asking? We will have to wait and see…

  1. Heya just wanted to give you a brief heads up and let you know some with the pictures aren’t loading properly. I’m not sure why but I feel its a linking concern. I’ve tried it in two different internet browsers and both show exactly the same outcomes.
