Three Bhoys players are among the Scottish Premiership’s top five rated overall.
Three Celtic players are among the Premiership’s top five rated on the latest edition of EA Sport’s popular FIFA computer game series, according to the Scottish Sun.
New signing Kolo Toure scores 79 overall, making him the division’s best and beating controversial Rangers midfielder Joey Barton by three.
Another summer recruit, Scott Sinclair, who has scored in each of his five league outings so far, and last season’s top scorer, Leigh Griffiths, are each rated at 75, along with Ibrox man Niko Kranjcar.
Another 75, Erik Sviatchenko, is rated as Celtic’s next best player, according to the Scottish Sun, with Craig Gordon rounding off the Bhoys’ own top five with 73.
It is unclear how highly the rest of Brendan Rodgers’ side fare, although Lee Wallace, Clint Hill (both 73) and Joe Garner (70) are Rangers’ next highest-ranked players, after Barton and Kranjcar.
Those ratings do not, however, reflect the gulf in class between the two teams in last weekend’s Old Firm clash, which ended 5-1 in Celtic’s favour.
