Celtic attacker Nadir Ciftci has hinted at his departure from the club after posting a cryptic Instagram post on Monday.
It has been clear that the 25-year-old has trailed behind fellow forwards Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths, and has taken to Instagram to suggest the uncertainty of his future at the club.
The Turkish striker failed to impress during the beginning of Celtic’s Invincibles season, and was loaned to Polish club Pogan Szczecin back in February.
As his loan contract with the Polish club draws to an end the Turkish international posted a picture of him in training on his official Instagram account with an hourglass emoji which suggests an element of waiting and time.
The forward less than impressed boss Brendan Rodgers after moving from Dundee United in 2015 on a four year contract, and has scored just four goals for the Bhoys during that time.
Ciftci failed to improve while on loan in Poland and didn’t net a single goal during his time with the Ekstraklasa club.
His future looks even less certain at the Glaswegian club as the Turkish international’s name isn’t given as an option to be printed on the back of the newly released kit on the club’s official Celtic superstore website – with options ‘Invincibles’ or ‘Champions’ alongside his club number instead.
